When I did my apprenticeship as a hairdresser in biel 18 years ago, I was sure of one thing: that I was aware of one thing: faster and better is not healthy, neither for me as a hairdresser nor for the customers. that’s why I wanted to quit this profession immediately after the apprenticeship. however, my life wanted me to stay in contact with this profession for another 16 years, until december 2019.
In 2011 I started my own business, first in a small salon on mattenstrasse in biel, “where you could hardly turn around” and then in a slightly larger salon in the old town on the obergässli, where I first opened as figaro sportelli in 2013 and celebrated this with a concert & apero.
7 years later, I now work without a mirror and I no longer need a shop window. I am glad to have the peace with the clients as my work has changed a lot.

PROCEDURE :
I now receive clients in a beautiful room at jean-sessler-strasse 7 on the 3rd floor in biel.
the customers take a seat in the middle of the room with a view of a beautiful bay window. I sit down next to them and start the conversation with a question like: „What can I do for you?“, „How would you like to feel after the visit?“ or „How does your head feel?“
after a few such questions and notes in my client book, I brush the hair and scalp extensively and connect with the person and their energy. customers with curls I just run my hands through their hair and work on the scalp and hair, as many curly hair wearers would otherwise not feel comfortable after brushing.
I usually already sense what the person needs on their head and focus on energies that need to be nurtured, sometimes I sing during the cutting and this often brings up topics that need to be discussed.
when clients come to see me, it already takes a certain openness to the invisible and the ancient healing arts.
I work completely without products, water, hairdryer or mirrors, so it is important that the clients appear without products in their hair. In order to be able to concentrate better, I ask the clients to come to the appointment unperfumed.

after 18 years of being a hairdresser, I was fed up with just looking at people from the outside, even though I have been doing that less and less for the last two years.
my HAIR WHISPERING, as I call it, is a very gentle work that requires an enormous amount of sensitivity, but since I’ve had it since childhood, I can now use it specifically and finally work with it. I advise people, sometimes I see things in their hair or often hear very clear sentences that I should communicate to people.
